Three seasons produced by Hahn Film & Norddeutscher Rundfunk: season 1 in 1999 was 13 episodes, season 2 in 2000 was 13 more episodes, and season 3 was in 2010
with 26 new episodes. Characters Yoyo and Doc Crock are toys on a shelf brought to life by a magical book of fairy tales; they live in the land of Simsala and tell stories and
then participate within the story. A number of episodes were released as double feature DVDs in Germany and in France; a few of the German DVDs are available on
Amazon USA but the French DVDs are all sold out (2019). Good Times Video released a box set of 26 "Simsala Grimm" episodes on 13 disks, evidently dubbed into English;
several of the G.T. Media double feature DVDs are coded below.
