"The Time Machine" fantasy novel by H.G. Wells [1866-1946]
The thing that Wells got right back in 1895 is the split of society in twain, and the realization of his prophecy is already too apparent
at the beginning of the XXIst Century – the eloi and the morlocks are today's Haves and Have-Nots. The 1960 film is a sci-fi classic;
the 2002 release altered the adventure tale into an unrecognizable and weak love story (and is best forgotten).
