Aldous  Huxley
            | short profile |
“Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored.”
“You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you mad.”
“We are all geniuses up to the age of ten.”
“There are things known and there are things unknown, and in between are the doors of perception.”
“It is a bit embarrassing to have been concerned with the human problem all one’s life and find at the end
that one has no more to offer by way of advice than 'try to be a little kinder'.”
— Aldous Huxley

"Crome Yellow" novel [1921] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crome_Yellow
The story of Sir Hercules Lapith, who briefly turned Crome into a haven for dwarves, was later adapted as a 60-minute radio play by Philip Mackie,
first broadcast on BBC Radio 4 in 1986 and repeated since.
novelist Julian Davies wrote Crow Mellow [2014], which he described as closely based on Aldous Huxley's novel; set in contemporary Australia,
it updates the satire to cover the hyper-capitalist XXIst Century in which the sex is more overt and art too has become a commodity.
