10-2023 Adobe released an updated version of Firefly, which Adobe says can create images of humans that look more human.

Anthropic [est. 2021] ~ A.I. chatbot Claude
founded as a public benefit corporation by former OpenAI employees who sought to prioritize A.I. safety; with that in mind, they designed their A.I. chatbot Claude to adhere to values expressed in a 'constitution': it doesn’t start with “We the algorithms…” but instead gets inspiration from documents like the U.N. Universal Charter of Human Rights and Apple’s Terms of Service. According to that constitution, Claude must avoid stereotyping groups of people, spreading misinformation, and offending non-Western audiences, among other toxic chatbot behaviors. Looking ahead (5/2023), Claude is already integrated into Slack, and it will soon be chatting up Zoom users. Anthropic plans to add new products, make its algorithms more powerful, and carry on with A.I. safety research.

7-2023 Apple built its own AI chatbot model, and used it to create a chatbot that some insiders call 'Apple GPT'. Apple hasn’t decided how to release the tech to consumers yet, but when it does, many assume that it will be similar to ChatGPT but sleeker looking and more expensive.
