Announced 10/2005: Anthony Hopkins will star as Ernest Hemingway in "Papa," to be directed by New Zealander Roger Donaldson, who says that the film will be based on Hemingway's encounter with Denne Bart Petitclerc, who was inspired by Hemingway's reporting of the Spanish Civil War to become the youngest war correspondent in the Korean War. Unable to find funding, the project was put on hold; Petitclerc died in 2006, no telling if anything will ever happen.
