The  Book/s
The first mention of Peter Pan was in J.M. Barrie's novel "The Little White Bird" [1902] with illustrations by Arthur Rackham - Peter had a whole chapter. The success of Barrie's hit London stageplay of 1904 was duplicated on Broadway. "Peter Pan In Kensington Gardens" [1906] was an expansion of the Peter Pan elements from "The Little White Bird". The "When Wendy Grew Up: An Afterthought" stageplay by J.M. Barrie was performed only once in 1908. Barrie's novel "Peter Pan" (also known as "Peter and Wendy") [1911] with illustrations by F.D. Bedford is the primary source for most of the adaptations that followed. Oliver Herford wrote "The Peter Pan Alphabet" [1907], a book of light verse. Daniel O'Connor wrote "The Story of Peter Pan Retold From The Fairy Play" [1915], published 'with the consent of Sir J.M. Barrie'.

But the rules of Neverland could not let that be, for Hook is cursed to battle Pan and the Wild Boys forever. A for-bidden grown woman dreams her way to Neverland and she quickly decides that the witty & educated privateer Capt. James Benjamin Hook might be redeemed, if they can figure a way to break his curse.
