The building of the Nordell Books Group websites over time accumulated several clumps of books & movies (on Spirit of America Bookstore
& the four companion bookstore sites) that just belonged on a Children's Department Page. So here is that page,
begun in mid-2011.
New content continues being added, and the page grew large so it was split in twain in May 2017; the 'Best In Children's Books' Series
section also got huge, and so was split off in late 2021.

This 42-volume anthology series was published monthly by Nelson Doubleday from 1957 to 1961; each hardcover issue contained ten or so
recent or classic children's books, with full illustrations: a bargain at the time and still a great collection of wonderful tales.
