40 collections on DVD with 240+ individual TV movies since 2000. Further growth led to splitting off Page 5 for TV Series holiday episodes, Page 6 for
Lifetime Network, and Page 7 for Merchandise, Other Media, Music.
Meanwhile, there are plenty of IMDb & Amazon DVD links and YouTube movie & trailer links to enjoy!

"Santa Claus" 1-minute silent clip [Prestwich Mfg./Warwick Trading Co. Sept 1898] /tt0242849/
The oldest surviving Christmas movie ever! It was produced & directed by George Albert Smith, inventor, stage hypnotist, magic lantern lecturer, psychic, and all-around
character. It contains perhaps the earliest example of two separate scenes happening onscreen at once, some of the earliest double-exposure effects.

"The Christmas Dream (Le Rêve de Noël)" 4-minute silent film [Star-Film France 1900] /tt0224039/
Leave it to cinema pioneer Georges Méliès [1861-1938] to help pioneer holiday movies! This one contains much frolicking, puffs of fake snow,
and plenty of those wonderfully vivid painted backdrops and props. Keep an eye out for Méliès himself, who appears in two roles.

for the three ghosts • directed by Walter R. Booth, starring Daniel Smith

A strange little gem from the great Russian stop-motion animator Wladyslaw Starewicz/Ladislas Starevich (spellings vary). He’s credited with being the first person to make an animated puppet film, having made a stop-motion documentary of stag beetles in 1910 using real dead beetles as puppets, posed with bits of wire and sealing wax. He went on to produce a number of surreal films with bug protagonists, like "The Grasshopper and the Ant" [1911] and "The Cameraman’s Revenge" [1912]
