About Bogart & Bacall
Betty Joan Perske was born in September 1924 in The Bronx, New York City; her name was changed in Hollywood in 1943; she met Bogart while filming "To Have and Have Not" [1944], and they were married from May 1945 until Bogart's death in 1957. She had a son & daughter with Bogart, married Jason Robards, and had a son with him. Lauren Bacall died from a stroke at age 89 in August 2014 in New York City.
