Michio Kaku  Quotations

"The Air Force is to be applauded for investigating technologies that may have value for national security . . . But wormholes, negative energies,
warped space-time, et cetera . . . require futuristic technologies [that are] centuries to millions of years ahead of ours. The only thing
going down the wormhole is taxpayers' money"

"It's pointless to have a nice clean desk, because it means [that] you're not doing anything."

"[T]he yeoman work in any science, and especially physics, is done by the experimentalist, who must keep the theoreticians honest."

"Global warming is controversial, of course, but the controversy is mainly over whether human activity is driving it."

"The most complex object in the known universe, the brain, only uses twenty watts of power. It would require a nuclear reactor power plant
to energize a computer the size of a city block to mimic your brain. So if someone calls you a dim bulb, that's a compliment."

"Physicists are made of atoms. A physicist is an attempt by an atom to understand itself."

"If you could meet your grandkids as elderly citizens in the year 2100 . . . you would view them
as being, basically, Greek gods . . . that's where we're headed."

"Almost everything [that] you see in your living room or a modern hospital can be traced back to physicists."
