Forty years ago (in 1979), Israeli psychologists Daniel Kahneman [1934-2024] & Amos Tversky [1937-96] wrote a series of breathtakingly original papers that created the new academic discipline of behavioral economics. One of the greatest partnerships in the history of science, Kahneman and Tversky’s extraordinary friendship incited a revolution in Big Data studies, advanced evidence-based medicine, and led to a new approach to government regulation.
