"Whether or not the Trump campaign colluded with Russian interests, the campaign was at least the beneficiary of what national security agencies characterize
as Russian attempts to influence the election with inflammatory online reports targeting Hillary Clinton." ~~ August 2017 article at C.N.B.C.

"The crux of the matter: The battle around the treasonous actions of the Trump Team - versus restoring the Constitution - is being fought between
propagandists who lie and public servants who are vilified for telling the truth."  —  G.E. Nordell

18 U.S. Code § 2381 - Treason: “Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies,
giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than
five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.”

“Our boy can become president of the USA and we can engineer it. I will get all of Putin’s team to buy in on this, I will manage this process.”
and “I will get Putin on this program and we will get Donald elected.” ~~ from two emails in 2016 by Trump consultant Felix Sater

The F.B.I was investigating suspicious communications between the Trump Organization and various Russian persons and organizations from 2014, long before Donald Trump announced his run for U.S. President.

Committee to Investigate Russia [est. 5/2017]
Leaders across the political spectrum formed the Committee to Investigate Russia in May 2017, an attempt to wake We The People up to already-existing cyber warfare, especially from the Russian government. The video of Morgan Freeman's warning was immediately attacked for all the wrong reasons by alt-right trolls and the mainstream media. The point that they missed is that The United States must take decisive action to protect commercial and government sites that are accessible on the internet from potential denial-of-service attacks as well as just plain shutdowns. The electrical grid, nuclear power plants, and aircraft & rail travel are all quite vulnerable to many forms of disruption.
And then there is the matter of identity theft and stolen funds.

  • In April 2016, attorney Marc Elias hired Fusion GPS on behalf of the Clinton campaign.
  • Unusual repeated activity from 4 May to 23 September 2016 between two computer servers registered to Alfa-Bank in Moscow and a server owned by the Trump Organization alerted the F.B.I. team who were already investigating George Papadopoulos based on a tip from Australian intelligence officials.
  • In June 2016, Fusion GPS subcontracted former MI6 agent Christopher Steele to research and compile a private intelligence report on Donald Trump's dealings with Russia. Senior Clinton campaign officials were reportedly unaware that Fusion GPS had subcontracted with Steele, and Steele was not told that the Clinton campaign was the ultimate recipient of his research.
  • From August through October 2016, the F.B.I. investigated the computer server activity between the Trump Organization and Alfa-Bank.
  • Oct-Nov 2016: Journalist Franklin Foer reported in Slate about the unusual activity between computer servers registered to Alfa-Bank in Moscow and the server owned by the Trump Organization; the activity also included a lesser volume of communications with a server at Spectrum Health, a medical facility chain led by Dick DeVos, the husband of Betsy Price DeVos.
  • Following Trump's election as president in November 2016, the completed Steele dossier was handed to British and American intelligence services.
  • 2017 January 10th: The Trump-Russia dossier prepared by former MI6 agent Christopher Steele was published in full in BuzzFeed News; denoting various ties between Trump and Russia, the dossier also mentions Alfa-Bank's parent company Alfa Group.
  • On 10 March 2017, C.N.N. reported that the F.B.I. was continuing its investigation of the unusual computer activity between Alfa Bank and the Trump Organization which had occured in the summer of 2016.
  • In May 2017, the owners of Alfa-Bank filed a defamation lawsuit against BuzzFeed News for publishing the unverified Steele dossier, which alleges financial ties and collusion between Putin, Trump, and Alfa Bank's owners.
  • In October 2017, the owners of Alfa-Bank filed a libel suit against Fusion GPS and Glenn Simpson for circulating the Steele dossier among journalists and for allowing it to be published.
  • In December 2017, Alfa-Bank's wholly-owned Dutch subsidiary Amsterdam Trade Bank (ATB) was raided in connection with an investigation into possible money-laundering.
  • In April 2018, the owners of Alfa-Bank filed a libel suit against Christopher Steele, creator of the Trump-Russia dossier.
  • In July 2018, Brian Benczkowski was confirmed by the U.S. Senate to run the Criminal Division of the Department of Justice, even though he has NO prosecution experience and he worked for Alfa-Bank; he denies any Trump Organization or Alfa-Bank connections, and vows not to recuse himself.
  • Cambridge Analytica [2013-2018]
Alt-right politico Steve Bannon worked as vice president of the board of Cambridge Analytica, which is owned largely by the Mercer family, which also co-owns Breitbart News.

  • 2014: Cambridge Analytica's research director Christopher Wylie resigned; he later became a whistleblower, exposing the company's role in President Trump's presidential campaign and Brexit; he also revealed the company's links to Russia. {see book below published October 2019}
  • U.S. Senator Ted Cruz of Texas paid Cambridge Analytica $6 million in 2015 & 2016 for their help with his presidential campaign.
  • The data firm that helped the Trump and Cruz campaigns on social media was suspended by Facebook on Friday 16 March 2018; Facebook also banned parent company Kogan.
  • Monday March 19: Facebook's stock fell by 7.1 percent as CEO Mark Zuckerberg faced calls from U.S. and European leaders to explain how data firm Cambridge Analytica
got access to information on at least 50 million Facebook users. Facebook shares finished the day down 13 percent from a record high reached in February; Zuckerberg is said to
have lost $6B (virtual money) on that single day.
  • Tuesday March 20: Cambridge Analytica suspended CEO Alexander Nix pending a full investigation into the undercover video that was broadcast by Britain's Channel 4 News in which Nix appeared to boast of the data firm's success in influencing elections in foreign countries.
  • Estimates were revised in April to improper access of 87 million users, 72 million of them Americans.
  • Data-mining firm Cambridge Analytica shut down all operations as-of May 3rd, because it had lost a majority of its customers; the company said that it did nothing wrong, blaming a 'siege of media coverage'.
  • 2019 October: Two Cambridge Analytica whistleblowers – former research director Christopher Wylie and former business development director Brittany Kaiser – published books exposing details of the company's role in influencing President Trump's presidential campaign and the Brexit vote, and also revealed the company's links to Russia. {see books just below}.

Lesin, former key adviser to Vladimir Putin, was found dead in his room at The Dupont Circle Hotel in Washington, DC on 5 Nov 2015; the official ruling is that he died of blunt force trauma after falling repeatedly in his room while intoxicated; the 2016 Steele Dossier suggests that Lesin was accidentally bludgeoned to death by Russian security who were supposed to scare him; Levin's death took place just days before he was to meet with Justice Department officials about the inner workings of the Russian television channel RT. A Freedom of Information Act lawsuit filed nearly two years prior finally produced documents from the city’s medical examiner in March 2019: Lesin sustained a complete fracture of his neck 'at or near the time of his death', which finding offers no clear-cut evidence of foul play.

  • July 10: The judge ordered Manafort to be transferred from the V.I.P. section at Northern Neck Regional Jail in Warsaw, Virginia - some 90 miles distant - back to the Alexandria Detention Center; Manafort's lawyers opposed the move but lost; the trial was scheduled to begin on July 25th, then bumped to July 31st.
  • 2018 July 24: Special Counsel Robert Mueller submitted a list of 35 witnesses for former Trump campaign chair Paul Manafort's upcoming trial on July 31; notable names on the list include Richard Gates, Daniel Rabin, and Tad Devine; Manafort is charged with financial crimes, including tax evasion & bank fraud, that generally predate his time on the campaign trail.
  • 2018 July 31: Paul Manafort's Virginia trial began with jury selection - 6 male jurors, 6 female jurors, four alternates - and opening arguments; the defense strategy appears to be blaming business partner Rick Gates for everything; the third day featured testimony of Heather Washkuhn, Manafort's former bookkeeper; the fourth day (Friday) featured testimony from Philip Ayliff, his former accountant between 2010 and 2014.
  • 2018 Sept 24: After several delays, Manafort’s trial in D.C. federal court on alleged tax & lobbying abuses began, also prosecuted by Mueller's team; Manafort faces charges including obstruction of justice in connection with his lobbying work for a pro-Russian Ukrainian political party.
  • 2019 March 7: Judge Ellis sentenced Manafort to 47 months in prison, less 9 months for time already served; the sentence was far shorter than the 19½ to 24 years that prosecutors asked for under federal sentencing guidelines; in addition to the prison time, Ellis ordered Manafort to pay a $50,000 fine and $24 million in restitution.
  • 2019 March 13: Paul Manafort's really bad day: After he was sentenced to 73 months in prison for conspiracy and fraud by a Washington, DC federal judge, the Manhattan District Attorney's office indicted him on entirely brand new charges, all on the state level (which Trump cannot pardon away); the 16 new charges against Manafort relate to mortgage fraud, conspiracy, and falsifying business records.

    political consultant Tad Devine
Worked with Manafort as a media consultant for the 2010 presidential campaign of Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych; Devine stopped working for Yanukovych after his government’s arrest of opposition Ukrainian politician Yulia Tymoshenko in 2011, but continued thru 2014 to negotiate with Manafort and Rick Gates to return as a consultant. Devine testified at Manafort's second trial.

Manafort business partner & Trump campaign aide Richard W. 'Rick' Gates III
Indicted with Manafort on multiple counts in October 2017; trial date was set for May 2017 for both Manafort & Gates; Gates pled guilty of one count in February 2018, pending a sentencing hearing; sentencing report filed in May 2018; situation on hold pending testimony at Manafort's trial.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rick_Gates_(political_consultant)

former business associate W. Samuel Patten
pled guilty Friday 8-31 to failing to register as a foreign lobbyist in the United States for a pro-Russian Ukrainian political party. Patten formed a firm in 2015 with Kilimnik, and the two did work in Central Asia, although it could not be determined Friday if they continued to do business with each other. Patten also reportedly worked in some capacity for the parent company of Cambridge Analytica, which is also under investigation in the Trump-Russia investigations by Mueller and several congtressional committees. Patten also lists a three-year stint as the country director for Russia at the International Republican Institute, a foreign policy think tank, from 2001 to 2004.

    political strategist Daniel Rabin
    testified at Manafort's second trial

    Jeffrey Yohai
former business partner and the former son-in-law of Paul Manafort; Manafort & Yohai invested in New York and California real estate deals; Yohai reportedly entered a guilty plea early in 2018 on criminal fraud charges regarding real estate loans; the plea deal requires him to cooperate with federal investigations.

  • former White House Counsel Don McGahn
2019 April 22: Rep. Jerrold Nadler, chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, issued a subpoena requesting that former White House Counsel McGahn testify before the panel on May 21; the committee gave McGahn until May 7 to hand over documents related to former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn's discussion of sanctions with former Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak, to President Trump's firing of former FBI Director James Comey, and possible pardons for Flynn, Trump's ex-lawyer Michael Cohen, and Trump's former campaign chairman Paul Manafort; the committee is investigating whether Trump obstructed justice.

Special Investigator Robert S. Mueller III
Mueller served as Assistant U.S. Attorney, 1986-87; as United States Attorney, 1990-93; as United States Assistant Attorney General, 1998-2001; and as Acting U.S. Deputy Attorney General, 2001; served as Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation from 2001 to 2013; appointed in May 2017 as Special Counsel to investigate Russian interference in U.S. elections

Congressman Devin Nunes [GOP CA-22] represents Tulare
chairman of the House Committee on Intelligence since 2015; stage-managed the release of a lying 4-page memo in February 2018 stating that no evidence was found
of collusion between Trump and the Russians and alleging surveillance abuses by the F.B.I. The Democratic minority members of the committee issued a 10-page rebuttal memo
(at first blocked by the White House, then released under pressure) spelling out the many falsehoods in the Nunes 'spin' memo. (Basically, the committee found no evidence
because they did not investigate – and prevented Democrats from doing so.)

Cong. Nunes sued Twitter and two Twitter accounts in March 2019 for defamation, demanding $250M in damages; he announced the lawsuit on Fox News; the Devin Nunes’ Cow parody account went from 1,000 followers to 400,000 followers in less than 48 hours; the other parody account is Devin Nunes' Mom.

Papadopoulos was hired as a foreign policy advisor to the Trump campaign in March 2016; he was interrogated by F.B.I. agents in January 2017 regarding any Trump campaign connections with Russia and arrested in July for making false statements to the F.B.I.; he pled guilty in October 2017, which became news two weeks later. After months of cooperation with Mueller's team, Papadopoulos's lawyers asked for zero jail time; however, in September 2018 the judge handed down a sentence of 14 days in prison, 12 months of supervised release, 200 days community service, and a fine of $9,500 • entry at Wikipedia

Richard Pinedo of Santa Paula, California
After indictment for several charges of facilitating payments through stolen identities, Pinedo pled guilty to one count of identity fraud in February 2018; he is a self-described digital marketing strategist who once ran a website that sold stolen bank account and credit card information to people needing to get around security measures on online marketplaces such as Amazon and eBay. He insists, believably, that he had no idea that any of his customers were Russian nationals.

The Department of Justice notified New York Times reporter Ali Watkins in February 2018 that it had seized her phone & email records, going back several years, in an inquiry into leaks of classified information. The Times said that the seizure might have been related to her report for BuzzFeed News about attempts by Russian spies to recruit Carter Page in 2013 before he worked as a foreign policy adviser for President Trump's campaign. Watkins once had a personal relationship with James A. Wolfe, former director of security for the Senate Intelligence Committee, who was arrested in June 2018 on charges that he lied to the F.B.I. about his contacts with three reporters. In October 2018, James Wolfe pled guilty to one of the three charges that he faced for lying to the F.B.I. about his contact with a reporter; under the deal, prosecutors will seek to dismiss the other two counts at his December sentencing, where he could get from zero to six months in prison.

    by arguing that the release of the document was in the public interest.) She pled guilty in June 2018 to a felony charge of leaking classified information;
the deal with prosecutors calls for a 63-month prison sentence and three years of supervised probation.
