Newbery  Awards
    | The John Newbery Awards were established in 1921 to honor authors of American children's books; the award is named for John Newbery, an XVIIIth Century English publisher of juvenile books; the awards are managed by the Association for Library Service to Children (A.L.S.C.), a division of the American Library Association (A.L.A.). Caldecott  Awards
    | The Caldecott Awards were established in 1937 to honor illustrators of American children's books; the award is named for Randolph Caldecott, a XIXth Century English illustrator; the awards are managed by the Association for Library Service to Children (A.L.S.C.), a division of the American Library Association (A.L.A.). There is not a lot of overlap between the Caldecott Awards/Honors and this page, but this is the correct location for the information.
