loser  Donald  J.  Trump
U.S. President/Emperor #45, 2017-2021

Republican Donald Trump is a fascist and a multiple bankrupt and a racist and a crook and a sexist pig;
the really sad part is that Trump was the best that the Republican Party could come up with to run for President of the U.S.A. in 2016.
And then a large number of racist, xenophobic, reality-averse dimwits elected the man President!

If Donald Trump was a legitimate official under the U.S. Constitution, the original real estate tycoon Donald J. Trump Page would include
his term as President. But things as they are require a split: the second page is for Emperor Trump and his fascist administration;
(with supplemental pages), and this third page will describe his subsequent banishment and deterioration.

Emperor Trump's  Cabinet
and Other Appointments

What with all the resignations and firings and re-appointments, this section grew large enough to justify its own page, so the detail - cabinet-level
& other appointments, White House personnel, Trump's legal team - was cut in June 2018.

Listed persons include the president’s son-in-law & adviser Jared Kushner, former Attorney General Jeff Sessions, former Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, former White House chief of staff John Kelly, former national security adviser Michael Flynn, Trump’s former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski, Sessions’ former chief of staff Jody Hunt, former White House aides Rob Porter and Rick Dearborn, and three people connected to the National Enquirer’s efforts to stifle potentially-embarrassing stories about Trump, a practice known as 'catch-and-kill': longtime Trump ally David Pecker, TV executive Dylan Howard, and attorney Keith Davidson.

The subsequent ruckus left five Americans dead and is widely known as the January 6th Capitol Riot. (By the end of April, the F.B.I. and other agencies had indicted 400 participants in that riot.)
  • 2021 late Friday Jan 8: Twitter permanently suspended President Trump's account, citing 'the risk of further incitement of violence'; Trump's account was quickly wiped from the site.
  • 2021 Sun Jan 10: Following Wednesday's violent siege of the Capitol, payment-processing company Stripe will no longer process payments for President Trump's campaign.
  • 2021 Mon Jan 11: House Democrats introduced an article of impeachment accusing President Trump of inciting an insurrection aiming to disrupt the peaceful transfer of power to President-elect Joe Biden.
  • 2021 Monday Jan 11: The decision by the Professional Golfers Association [est. 1916] to move the 2022 P.G.A. Championship from Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey to some other location may have upset the president as much as any other recent event; a source close to the White House said that Trump is 'gutted' by the move, and while he's angry about the House moving forward with a second impeachment, his reaction to losing the tournament was a 'different order of magnitude'.
  • 2021 late Monday Jan 11: Deutsche Bank, Donald Trump's biggest lender, decided against doing further business with him or his companies following last week's deadly attack on the U.S. Capitol by a mob of pro-Trump terrorists - Trump owes the German lender more than $300 million. • 2021 Wed Jan 13 about 1pm EST: Donald Trump   President Donald Trump was impeached by the House of Representatives for the second time; the charge is that he "threatened the integrity of the democratic system, interfered with the peaceful transition of power, and imperiled a coequal branch of Government", doing so in a way that rendered him "a threat to national security, democracy, and the Constitution" if he were allowed to complete his term. Trial in the Senate was an unknown at this point.
  • 2021 Wed Jan 13: New York City announced that it would end its contracts with the Trump Organization, which include running ice skating rinks, a carousel, and a golf course for the city; Mayor Bill de Blasio said that 'inciting an insurrection against the U.S. government clearly constitutes criminal activity', and that that disqualified Trump's company from doing any work for the city.
  • 2021 Tue Jan 19: President Trump said in a videotaped 'farewell address' released late Tuesday that "the movement we started is only just beginning". He did not mention President-elect Joe Biden by name, but Trump said that he was preparing to "hand power over to a new administration at noon Wednesday", and extended his "best wishes". Trump also touted his economic and foreign policy record, and criticized the deadly January 6th attack against the U.S. Capitol that led the House to impeach him on the charge of inciting an insurrection. "Political violence is an attack on everything [that] we cherish as Americans," Trump said. "It can never be tolerated." Trump also called for Americans to set aside political rancor.
  • 2021 Wed Jan 25: The U.S. Supreme Court brought an end to lawsuits over whether Donald Trump illegally profited off his presidency. The justices threw out Trump’s challenge to lower court rulings that had allowed lawsuits to go forward alleging that he violated the Constitution’s emoluments clause by accepting payments from foreign and domestic officials who stay at the Trump International Hotel and patronize other businesses owned by the former president and his family; SCOTUS also ordered the lower court rulings thrown out as well and directed appeals courts in New York and Richmond, Virginia to dismiss the suits as moot now that Trump is no longer in office. Meanwhile, Trump is trying to block the Manhattan district attorney’s enforcement of a subpoena for his tax returns, and lower courts are weighing congressional subpoenas for Trump’s financial records. The justices also have before them Trump’s appeal of a decision forbidding him from blocking critics on his Twitter account; like the emoluments cases, Trump’s appeal would seem to be moot now that he is out of office and also had his Twitter account suspended.

    . . . looking forward to former President Donald Trump's Senate impeachment trial on February 8th

  • 2021 Feb 25-28: Donald Trump   Thousands of mask-less conservatives flocked to Orlando, Florida for the 4-day Conser-vative Political Action Conference (CPAC) where they - among other things - worshipped a shiny golden idol of Donald Trump. Keynote speaker Trump delivered a speech rant that was a 'flat declaration that he plans to continue to dominate Republican politics rather than attempt to become a semi-retired statesman'. "We will take back the House, we will win the Senate, and then a Republican president will make a triumphant return to the White House." - 'Trump’s strategy for returning to power is already clear: The former President is positioning himself and his audience as the only true Americans.'
  • 2021 May 5: Donald Trump   Facebook's Oversight Board announced that it has decided to uphold the platform's suspension of Trump. At the same time, the board also ruled that it 'was not appropriate' for Facebook to indefinitely suspend Trump because it's "not permissible for Facebook to keep a user off the platform for an undefined period, with no criteria for when or whether the account will be restored". The board called for Facebook to "reexamine the arbitrary penalty it imposed" on Trump and decide on an "appropriate penalty" within six months. (see June 4)
  • 2021 May 6: Twitter suspended an account that was relaying posts from former President Donald Trump's new blog, on the grounds that it violated the company's rules against sidestepping its bans. The new Trump account was {at}DJTDesk, short for his new 'From The Desk of Donald J. Trump' web page.

  • 2022 Tuesday September 20: the former president and Eric Trump, Ivanka Trump, and Donald Trump Jr. were indicted on charges of business fraud by the New York Attorney General; the suit alleges that the Trump family flagrantly manipulated property valuations to deceive lenders, insurance brokers, and tax authorities. • 2022 Friday Nov 11: Lawyers for former President Trump filed a federal lawsuit to try and void a subpoena from the House Select Committee investigating Jan. 6 seeking personal testimony and documents from the former president related to the events of that day; the suit argues that the committee's subpoena was invalid because the former president had 'absolute testimonial immunity' from the committee.
  • 2022 Tue Nov 15: Traitor & criminal Donald Trump is so out of touch with reality that he announced that he is running for President in 2024; the three major broadcast networks did not show the debacle live; the speech was nearly incoherent. Next day, C.N.N. reported on the top twenty lies from that speech.
  • 2022 Wed Nov 30: The U.S. House Ways & Means Committee received several years of former President Trump's tax returns from the Treasury Department, ending a three-year legal battle. The news came after the Supreme Court last week rejected Trump's challenge of a lower court's ruling that the House had the authority to get the documents from the Internal Revenue Service. Trump had argued that no Congress had "ever wielded its legislative powers to demand a president's tax returns," and that setting this precedent would have "far-reaching implications". House Democrats fought for the returns, saying they needed them to review the I.R.S.'s presidential audits; Trump's lawyers said lawmakers wanted the returns for political purposes.
  • 2022 4:45am Sat Dec 3: Donald Trump   Former President Trump tweeted on his UntruthSocial platform that we should 'terminate' the U.S. Constitution, and after the usual uproar from both sides, denied that he ever said such a thing. Here is a click here for photograph (in a new window) of his tweet.

  • 8-28 Trump’s Arlington scandal gets worse and worse—and worse We’ve learned so much since Wednesday, and the details are despicable.
  • 2024 Sept 15: second assassination attempt Second Trump assassination attempt foiled; former president is safe. The FBI announced yesterday afternoon that it was “investigating a protective incident” involving Donald Trump at his golf course in West Palm Beach, FL. Sheriff Ric Bradshaw gave a news briefing in which he said the Secret Service agent patrolling “one hole ahead” of former President Trump saw a rifle barrel sticking out of the bushes toward the course and “immediately engaged that individual.” The suspect fled, but a witness was able to photograph the vehicle he escaped in, which led to his arrest. An AK-47-style rifle and a GoPro camera were recovered from the scene. Afterward, Trump sent an email to his mailing list saying, “I AM SAFE AND WELL” and “I WILL NEVER SURRENDER!” Who is the suspect? Law enforcement officials said the man who pointed the rifle and was arrested is Ryan Wesley Routh. The officials identified the suspect to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the ongoing investigation. What has Trump said since the attempt? In an email to supporters, Trump said: “There were gunshots in my vicinity, but before rumors start spiraling out of control, I wanted you to hear this first: I AM SAFE AND WELL!” What is Vice President Kamala Harris saying? Harris, Trump’s Democratic opponent in the presidential election, posted on X that she had been briefed on the reports of gunshots fired. “I am glad he is safe. Violence has no place in America.” We're learning more about the man arrested for allegedly attempting to assassinate Donald Trump at his West Palm Beach golf course. The suspect, 58-year-old Ryan Wesley Routh, owns a small construction company in Hawaii that builds affordable housing. He has repeatedly criticized the former president for such things as Trump's withdrawal from the Iran nuclear deal in 2018 and the attack on the US Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, according to CNN. Suspect in second attempted Trump assassination faces federal gun charges. The suspect arrested for allegedly trying to shoot former President Donald Trump on his Florida golf course, 58-year-old Ryan Wesley Routh, appeared in court yesterday and was charged with possession of a firearm while a convicted felon and possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number. The man accused of trying to shoot former President Donald Trump on a Florida golf course, Ryan Wesley Routh, wrote a letter explaining his plans in the event of a failure, prosecutors said in a recent court filing. Yesterday, a judge ruled Routh should be held without bail pending his trial.

    [streaming Nov 2017, DVD release Dec 2017]
    Trumping Democracy 2017 documentary film by Thomas Huchon  "In the darkness of the web, democracy was trumped by data." • Explosive documentary that follows the money in the 2016 election cycle to the elusive billionaire Robert Mercer, who bought Breitbart News and funded the effort while inserting Steve Bannon into the presidential campaign as its manager. Mercer-owned company Cambridge Analytica used data of millions of Americans – acquired from Facebook, Google, banks, credit companies, social security, and more – and tactics honed during the U.K.'s Brexit campaign to identify voters deemed 'most neurotic or worried', whom they believed could swing for Trump. In the days before the election, using
    the little-known Facebook feature called 'dark posts', Cambridge Analytica deployed highly manipulative & personalized messages seen only one time by the user before disappearing.

    cartoon about 'The Apprentice' biopic about young Donald Trump
      The story of how a young Donald Trump started his real estate business in 1970s and '80s New York with the helping hand of infamous lawyer and political fixer Roy M. Cohn. Film earned only $150,000 on its first day, despite being in 1,750 theaters. Donald Trump's 2024 election campaign commented on the movie: "This 'film' is pure malicious defamation, should never see the light of day and doesn't even deserve a place in the straight-to-DVD section of a bargain bin at a soon-to-be-closed discount movie store, it belongs in a dumpster fire." • Trump lost it over 'The Apprentice' film, to the director's delight: If Trump hates it so much it’s probably worth watching. • IMDb credits lists 45 co-producers; co-producer & director Ali Abbasi; co-produced & written by Gabriel Sherman; starring Sebastian Stan {as young Trump}, Jeremy Strong {as Roy M.
